Well well well, what can I say. This is a rose bicycle. When I got it from a women, who lives up the hill now, it was rose. And now, after the overhaul, it is still rose. But, I also made sure that it's a beautiful rose bicycle. It runs great and the rose colour makes really happy. Have you ever heard the expression: To see the world through rose-colored glasses!?

My 20th bicycle this year. Unbelievable! And a worthy one too - the bicycle turned out very nice. I got this bicycle from a good friend of mine, who had trouble keeping up with his girlfriend because the shifting wasn't working properly. He handed the bicycle, which has a lot of sentimental value to him, over to me and called a budget limit for it. I did a lot of research on the new parts and made some bargains, like the very cool bicycle rack from Gorilla Urban Cycling. It is not only my first bicycle with a rack, but also the first one with a dynamo. Just to keep the whole classic look going. I replaced almost all the parts: New tires, new cables and housings, new brake pads, new handlebar, new grips, new saddle, new pedals. Thanks again to my friend for giving me the opportunity to be creative.

With this bicycle basically everything started. I bought it a couple of years ago at the well known 'Helvetiaplatz Veloflohmi' and loved it right from the beginning. Over the years I have modified a lot of parts, consequently the look of it and have learned a lot about the fineness of bicycles. Since it needed maintenance, I decided last month to give my beloved bicycle a complete overhaul. I added only premium parts: new rims, tires, tubes, cassette, chain, handlebar, grips, brake levers, cables, housings and a saddle. On the test run I couldn't stop grinning. It runs absolutely perfectly - smooth and quiet.

This is another amazing bicycle! Probably the most fancy one so far. I bought it from a women that used to live in Zürich and moved to the country where she didn't ride it anymore. When I saw the bicycle for the first time, I knew I had to get it. The mounted parts are just awesome. To overhaul it, I first changed the handlebar and the grips. Then there was a bad eight in the back wheel I had to center. And finally I adjusted the braking and shifting.

I am so proud of how this bicycle turned out. When I purchased it, I thought I've made a bargain. But it turned out to be in a really bad condition. So it sat in my cellar a couple of months - waiting for it's destiny. The rebuilt started with a complete strip. I had to take all the tiny parts apart, clean them, oil them and but them back together. The wheels had a bad eight. So I centered them - which was a pain in the neck. I replaced all the housings and cables, the chain, the handlebar, the braking levers, and the grips. After the final reassembling I took the bicycle for a run - and it's a pure pleasure. These are the projects I love.
